I’m just so frustrated right now. I came upon a status update a friend from my facebook newsfeed. After seeing that status, I immediately unsubscribed to her status updates and I’m thinking of un-friending her as Facebook has suggested.
Let me talk about this girl. She was my college batch mate and she is pretty active in religious and extracurricular activities. She was an all around good girl from what I know of her during college. Astoundingly even after graduation, she has still found activities to take part on which is good…for her. Argh.
This is the status I sent out after reading her post: “I hate people who declares someone as bad or evil…I mean have you looked at yourself first? You base your judgement on reports that are not even backed up. How foolish. God will know what to do with the likes of you. :)”
We have a powerful tool such as a PRAYER, why should we BASH someone instead and basing it on reports that you yourself have only heard and not yet confirmed. I pray for your soul.
Here is her status post, but I had to delete some names so that I won’t get to reveal her identity. These are not my thoughts…these are hers and hers alone. I think I’m going to cut off our ties in a few days:
“Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Have you heard or read through Lady gaga’s songs/lyrics? It’s extremely foolish. Particularly her song “Judas” it says there, “I’m in love with Judas. I’ll bring him (Jesus) down and He’s a king with no crown.” This is seriously obnoxious. She awfully blasphemes and mocks our Lord Jesus.
Satan has been been moving through Lady Gaga. She’ll perform concerts in 116 cities all over the world to promote her “Born This Way” album, where she encourages sexual immorality and blasphemy. She is also reported to be and avid follower and member of Satanic cults. Her show was banned in Korea as pornography as well as in Indonesia (thanks to OMITTED NAME’s info). By the way, she has an upcoming concert in Manila. Why can’t she be banned here in the Philippines???
Let’s continue to pray that satan’s work will be impeded and that more souls will be saved from those who were deceived through such ungodly workings and practices.
2 Timothy 3:1-9 says, “But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them.
They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over weak-willed women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires, always learning but never able to acknowledge the truth. Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so also these men oppose the truth — men of depraved minds, who, as far as the faith is concerned, are rejected. But they will not get very far because, as in the case of those men, their folly will be clear to everyone.”
Let our hearts be guarded always and always. Have a Spirit-filled day guys!:)”

SUBJECT: Looking for
What is Looking for all about?
Looking for is an online page in Facebook.com created for people who are looking for things, services, objects, help (name anything that’s not against their rules) and co-page users will help you find it.
You can find this site by clicking on this link: https://www.facebook.com/iloveLOOKINGFOR
Since a lot of people hated the timeline format for pages, they also made a group so that it’s easier for individuals to use it. Here’s the link: https://www.facebook.com/groups/111326512308773/?ref=ts
This page is good especially for sellers that sometimes find posts of people looking for items that they are selling. They can just message the person the link of their items and poof! they might make a sale.
RANT!
Truly, honestly and faithfully I’ve been loving this page so much. I was impressed that there were people who came up with this idea of helping others look for something plus they are also helping themselves with possible sales. I was obsessed with this page for months (probably since December) and if you have been a friend/subscriber to my personal facebook page, you would see my posts and replies to this page a thousand times and you might have even stopped subscribing to me because you got sick of those posts! :D
I was also impressed by how they lived up to their rules. The administrators are not the only ones who scold or remind hardheaded users but even users themselves! This looks like a great example of democracy or governance where everyone participates and see to it that everyone is abiding the rules. Now, I think you might be thinking…what rules could this group/page have? You can read the rules on their page but some of the rules are:
(1) No advertising
(2) No looking for buyers/target market
(3) No posting of prices
(4) No obscenities
Those who don’t follow might get banned for a period of months. For a seller, that will surely be a disadvantage. :O
I became a member for their group a few weeks after they made it, but I suddenly left the group. Why?
Although there were rules and the admins are continuously making rules if ever anything else arises, I witness a lot of disappointments. Disappointments? How else can I say this… Hm…I’ll just enumerate some observations below:
(1) People who seem to be comfortable of posting in English despite inability to use the language well. I’m not saying I’m good at English but if you can’t speak or write in English, might as well say it in a language that you usually use and most of us understand (e.g. Tagalog). I think some people use English to sound cool anyways and I despite this because advertising companies sometimes associate cool with imports or foreign brands…and thus! people are thinking this way.
(2)I’ve encountered two or three people who are looking for ways to get things fast. I don’t mean express mail or fast food delivery but I mean illegal ways to get for example, NBI clearance (which means tipping the employees to get your clearance fast despite the you having a hit on your name) and getting a TIN ID without having to go to the BIR office. Illegal means…tsk tsk. This says a lot for the Philippines if these means are possible. Employees can be easily paid for something that important? Gosh. That is a disappointment.
(3)People announcing that the following sellers are scammers. I know for a fact that this could be helpful but there is no way we can prove that they are really scammers. Some people usually post their conversations to prove that they were scammed but some just place names. Tsk. Tsk.
I left the group and probably in a few days time, I will unlike the page. :D But it was a nice page though…time to focus on my life now. haha.](http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m2mb0oEgmO1r4tvalo1_500.png)
